"Desperados" flatter to deceive ..... again!
With "Desperados" being second after the first half of the quiz, questions were being raised about random dope testing this evening, but with no questions on rappers or boy bands, their specialist subjects, they faded in the second half, but still achieved a very respectable (for them) joint sixth finish. It was "Oli's been offered a job in Peru" who lead from start to finish this evening and accordingly took the £40 bar voucher first prize - what will be the consequence if Greg allows Oli to accept the job offer? As for the £20 bar voucher prize for coming second last, I've always believed a certain amount of luck and lack of general knowledge is necessary to win this prize. When a team wins this prize on a regular basis as "Just the 3 of us" did again this evening, it makes you think there has to be some strategic intellect involved. On second thoughts, perhaps not!
The questions about dope testing were raised again when it came to the Jackpot cash prize as "Desperados" won the closest to question to draw from the remaining Jackpot envelopes. In selecting envelope number 4 "Desperados" those questions were emphatically answered - albeit congratulated as being winners from the card in envelope number 4, it was a bag of crisps only!!!!! Flattered to deceive again.
Anyway, a good fun evening as always and It all happens again next Tuesday 7th May when the rolling Jackpot increases to £67.Disclaimer: Blog posts are written by our Quiz hosts.
